Sunshadow padded out, feeling tired.
TO: SC Warriors Den
Blizzardpaw stretched and glanced at the two cats. 'They should be all right while I take a short nap,' he thought, convincing himself. Blizzardpaw settled down, still alert for any sounds of distress from the two sick cats.
But then everything faded to black, and he woke again in his den.
TO: SC Warriors Den
Blizzardpaw stretched and glanced at the two cats. 'They should be all right while I take a short nap,' he thought, convincing himself. Blizzardpaw settled down, still alert for any sounds of distress from the two sick cats.
Blizzardpaw woke up in a moonlit clearing that was shining with silver light. He looked around, bewildered. This was no place in the forest, that much he was sure of. A cat suddenly seemed to appear, startling him. Blizzardpaw jumped back, fur fluffed up in fright. Slowly, he relaxed as he saw that the cat had a sparkle of starlight in their fur and eyes. "Who are you?" he asked, blinking. The cat shook his majestic head, smiling. "You do not know me?" he asked softly. Right then, it hit him, and Blizzardpaw blinked in surprise. "You...you're my grandfather, Flurrystorm!" The silver tabby nodded and replied, "You are correct, my boy. Listen well, now...I have come to you for a reason. This sickness cannot be stopped by any herb the Clans have. Nor can it be cured by any other earthly substance." Blizzardpaw's blue eyes flashed with alarm as he exclaimed, "Then how can we stop it?" Flurrystorm flicked his tail gently for silence and continued, "Grandson, I said it can't be cured by an earthly substance...but it can be cured by something else. You must travel with seven other cats to find the cure. It can be found where StarClan speaks loudest, my boy." Flurrystorm started to fade, still smiling wisely. "Wait, some back!" yowled Blizzardpaw. "Where does StarClan speak loudest?!"
But then everything faded to black, and he woke again in his den.
